Well.. the inevetable happened.
I put on.
Luckily it was only 300g. But still, 17 weeks of losses and now a gain.... crap!
Lucky for me it's motivated me to do better this week. Now the next hurdle is plateu... please please please... no plateu's...
Guess what? No dessert last night.... yay! Yes, obviously I missed the sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet taste of something so sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.... but... I was proud of myself, because it allowed me to earn some points. I also went for a 20min walk, so there is a little bit on top of that also. I wanted to go longer, but I had my bf's Mum with me and she can't walk far. It was also getting quite dark so we decided to go the shorter route...
Does anyone know about the WW quick start rules? when I first started and was on 27pts, my leader made me do I week of quick start which was 25pts and then back up to 27 again... Is it just taking off 2 points? So like... if I did a week of 23, would that work the same way??
Perhaps some miricle person will find this blog and answer my question... or perhaps not. *shrug*
I really wasn't surprised that I put on this week. It was pretty bad.... I did expect to put on last week... 1.5 loss WAS a surprise... 300g gain.. not so much.

300g is nothing! But if you are like me, then just looking at that break in the 17 week winning streak would annoy me! Unless, a 17 week losing streak follows.....and I am sure that it will.
ReplyDeleteWhen I did quick startand I should've been on 26 points, I did 18! I read the exact menu from Book 1 and didn't add any additional points. That way I knew that I had the right combinations of carbs/sugars.proteins etc. Not sure if that was right or not?!?
Yeah, I know it's nothing... it could have been anything from a different pair of pants... but yes.. definitely annoying lol!
ReplyDeleteDid your leader tell you to do 18pts? I don't think it was supposed to be that low??? I think it's only meant to be slightly lower because apparently your body needs it blahblah etc etc.... and as you go down in weight, obviously you go down in points slowly...
I'm aiming to go for a kind of quick start this week if I can (survive through work, that is!) Thursday I did 20.5, Yesterday I did 21.5, so far today I've done about 16ish and I haven't had dinner yet... roast lamb with veg... sooo that should give me about 3 points (not too good with red meat)... and well... there are chippies next to me... roughly 1pt per 10g... had about 30g so far... so gonna try and resist any more :)
It's a nice thought to buy nibbles for me and my bf... but please.. dont leave an open pack of yummy chips next to me... lol
hey at least it hasn't been 2 kg's like I have had several times. you'll find next week you will lose that 300 plus the next amount. Platue's are the pits, and I seem to hit one every 5 kg's. Can you eat potato chips? I can't!!!! They give me pain under the ribs, a real noring pain a bit like the gas pain after the op, or when you have a stitch. So no more chippies for me. Which I guess is a good thing. I am getting a longer and longer list of what I can't eat. Soon it will be longer than what I can.
ReplyDeleteYep, chips are one of the easiest things for me to eat lol
ReplyDeleteit's weird how everyone is different, hey??
