Okay... so..... I went away to Melbourne for my Christmas holidays and had an odd complication. The first time it happened was actually the night before I left, and I just fobbed it off as a once off - but I was so wrong! Not much I could do about it though, I had to board a plane the next day.
Basically, I choked myself awake. Well, to be honest it was more like I couldn't fully get to sleep because as soon as I started to nod off and relax, obviously whatever muscles in that area started relaxing as well and I'd just have this rush of saliva come into my throat. Very strange... Then for the following week, it kept happening each night. I think I remember having a blockage the day before this first happened, so it's possible I may have slipped my band slightly (not enough for me to notice when unblocking myself....) but anyways... I was in a different state and had no fill doctor I could go to!
I ended up having to go to two different hospitals... the first one was a 10 hour wait at Monash for them to tell me they couldn't do anything for me (I could have went postal on that place!) and the second was a 1 and a half hours TOTAL and I was out the door, fill taken out, happy as larry to go back to where I was staying and have a decent sleep.
I decided that I would just take it easy while over there (it was my holidays) and make the most of it. Went out with friends to dinner, did all the naughty things I haven't done in the past 2 years with them and had fun.
In total I put on 6-7kg while I was away (I know, how naughty!!) and I'm due for a fill on this Monday coming. I tried a few different 'diets' since I've been back home, most of them failiing, except I found one that has allowed me to lose 4kg in the last week and a bit! It's not all diet though, I've also been going to the gym 3 days a week and doing pretty hardcore workouts. I'm really enjoying that as well, suprisingly! 60kg ago I would have laughed at myself if I thought I would ever enjoy exercise!
Sooo, If you have done the math, my gain put me back in triple digits *sad face*... but I'm soon to be back under, if I can keep this up this new eating plan and exercise routine. I'm stoked. I'm not getting my full fill put back in, only about 3/4 of it - This will allow me to have more food options (i.e I hadn't had steak in 2 years when I was at full restriction!) as well as it being easier for me to keep my portions under control. I know I can do this without the band, but I don't want to have to think about tracking every single little thing each and every minute in fear that I will have too much on one day! At least knowing my portion sizes will go back to being smaller, I can relax a bit and maybe just do my tracking once per day.
I hope that's enough of an update for now - all going great over here. I'm starting to be happy with how I look and once I get rid of this last 20kg or 30kg I will post my before and after pictures :)
I don't update this regularly, but I do come back when there is anything significant to write about! I'm a busy bee! :)

I totally had that experience before my last unfill. How scary is it? I was sleeping sitting up until I could get to the doctor cos I was terrified of drowning my my sleep from regurgitation. I actually ended up with pneumonia because some fluid came up and when I gasped for air I sucked it into my lungs! Scary!
